Pilot Project: Assessing populations and distribution of Preble’s meadow jumping mouse in the North Poudre Site Conservation area
This project was an initial evaluation of the Preble’s meadow jumping mouse (PMJM) populations that exist within the North Poudre Site Conservation watershed, which includes North Fork of the Poudre River, Rabbit Creek, Lone Pine Creek, and various tributaries.
Project Spotlight: Rabbit Creek Stream and Preble’s Meadow Jumping Mouse Mitigation
The proposed 105-acre Rabbit Creek Mitigation Bank stream mitigation and Preble’s Meadow Jumping Mouse conservation bank project is located on a section of state trust land adjacent to the 28,000-acre Cherokee Park State Wildlife Area.
Project Spotlight: Table Top Mitigation Bank
With conservation banking, landowners can be fairly compensated for preserving and restoring protected species habitat on their property. The Table Top Conservation Bank located in Livermore is the first example of its kind in Colorado, and others may soon be available.
